Oh, good, because I've actually been wanting to do that for a while.

It's really cute. But 'fate', huh... [Hearing those words makes her sound a little sad, almost contemplative. She puts her hands together, near her lips. While she likes it, there's just something about saying that it's fate that just bothers her.] I don't think it's something like that. Because if that's true, it's like saying other things in my life could have been fate, too.

And I don't want that to be true.

[Because fate likes to give her a rather shitty hand, and Mio's concerned that if she remembered two deaths already, maybe she'll remember another one.]

She knows it isn't, but she wants to harp on this opportunity regardless of the fact, reaching out to him as she places a hand atop his own.]

[ The feeling of her hand does cause him to smile a little. But he can't quite get rid of this terrible sensation in the pit of his stomach. Even if it wasn't his intention, he still felt bad about the whole ordeal. ]

[Her cheeks are burning a bright red as her gaze fixes on his own.]

I just want to be by your side. I want to stay with you a little while longer, tonight. I'm being a little selfish, but please.

[ Of course he's not being serious but he couldn't pass up an opportunity to poke fun at her. ]

There's nothing wrong with being a little selfish, I want to stay with you for a while longer as well.

Xiaolang is over at Kinomoto's guardian's place, so you don't have to worry about taking me away from him. We'll have plenty of time to do whatever it is you want to do tonight.

[He's definitely making fun of her and she knows it. She pouts a little bit, but it soon fades when he says those words, leaning into his touch. When he says that his cousin isn't home, she can't help but be relieved.

But then he says that.

Eh? You really mean that...? [That's. Unexpected. And she actually does seem surprised.]

[ Seeing her facial expression makes him wonder if it was really that surprising? (Spoilers Leon: It is.) Well, he didn't mind. It's been a while since they got a chance to be together like this, so he wants to make her extra happy tonight.

With a gentle smile, he nods his head and has to hold himself back from making a noise when she leans into his touch. Her soft skin felt so good against his hand... ]

I mean it. Tonight, we can do whatever you want. Pleasing you is what I desire as well.

[It definitely is quite a bit of a surprise here. If he wants to make her happy, then she can't help but accept his words with a smile of her own, caring and warm. Her cheeks even color slightly.]

That... makes me really happy, Leon. I really appreciate it.

I'll do anything if it makes you happy and if I get to see a smile on your face.

[ ... Okay that 'anything' does have it's limits like doing something totally humilitaing to his pride BUT HIS POINT STILL STANDS. Leon will go miles on order to ensure that Mio's happiness is priority because she is his number on girl in his life.

And to seal that promise, he leans in and presses his lips against hers for a kiss. ]
