[ Calling her cute makes her blush, so she's actually rather thankful that this is text and not.

An actual call via audio or video. Nevertheless, she decides to come on over; it takes her a bit since she's not running (it's dark, after all!), but she's showing up wearing something cute as she doorbells. ]

[ When he heard the doorbell ring, he immediately walks over to open the door and greet Mio. ]

[ He stops mid sentence as he gets a good glimpse of her appearance. OH NO SHE'S CUTE!!! Granted, Mio looked amazing in just about any outfit but he couldn't deny that he liked seeing her in cute frilly clothes.

At the realization that he was standing there gawking, he nervously glances to the side and opens the door wider for her to enter. ]

C-Come on in! You look really cute...

[ Her cheeks tint a slight pink as she tugs at the sides of her dress, aquamarine eyes darting away before entering. Ever polite, she takes off her shoes once she's inside. ]

Sorry for coming over so suddenly, Leon... but, ah. Thanks. [ She teeters a little on her heels, glancing away. ] I don't usually wear these kinds of things, though.

Don't worry. I'm glad that you came over, it's better for us to talk in person, anyhow.

[ He makes the mistake of looking at her again because as soon as he sees that pink blush coloring her cheeks, he could feel his heart pounding fast. ]

You look good in that kind of style. R-Really, you look nice in just about anything but I wouldn't be opposed if you wore clothes like that more often...

[ Which is a good thing, at least to her. But she's certain that he would agree with her on that much. Mio tries to push the blush out of her cheeks though as she walks a little more inside and out of the darkness, smiling serenely at him. ]

You think so? I'm not really used to wearing dresses all that casually, but I guess I could wear them more often since they're cute. Should I grab a seat somewhere?

[ That much is true and it's very much a good thing to him as well. He flashes her a small smile to show her that he definitely agrees with her on that point. ]

It make me happy to see you in cute things. [ But let's get real, Mio is cute in anything and he'll approve of just about anything she wears. ] Y-Yeah. Do you want to sit in the living room? [ He pauses. ] Or we could go to my room if you want...

[ And now her face is even redder and she can't hide the shock in those words that he says because that is probably the boldest thing she's ever heard him say. ]

[ It's REALLY hitting him how bold that sounds but he swears that he has nothing but the purest intentions! It doesn't help her face is so red and his is turning a brighter shade of red to match. ]

O-Only if you are... if you don't want to, t-then that's fine!

[ Shit shit shit. He's stuttering so bad and he's not sure how he can recover. ]

X-Xiaolang's home so I...f-figured he wouldn't want to witness anything embarrassing.

[ Except that inviting her into his room is just as bad and he's just now realizing that. ]

[ She's quiet for a moment, trying her best to cool herself off both mentally and physically before she manages to pipe up again; the fact that they're messes makes this a little difficult on her, but she's going to at least try. ]

Okay, but-- should I wait here first for you to clean up or is it okay to just. Go to your room as it is now? [ This is basically her warning to him, as a man. ]

[ He's so scared that he fucked up. What was he thinking? Even though his intentions were pure, asking her to come into his room was way too soon. As he was in the middle of trying to salvage the situation and change the subject... he's surprised.

She... actually wants to come inside his room?! ]

Y-You really want to? [ Now he screwed up even more because he sounds lame. ] We can go in as is. I keep my room perfectly neat and tidy.

[ But then again, Mio wouldn't be surprised if he really wasn't, considering who else is living in this house. ]

[ The redness on his face continues to spread because he really hopes she's not implying that he's hiding something.... impure. Of course she's right, there's no way he'd have something like that lying around the house with Xiaolang around. Or anything like that period!!

With a nervous sigh, he leads the way to his room. ]

[ In fact, she laughs at the idea of him actually having those types of magazines in his own room, covering the impure covers with something else just in case. ]

Since their apartment is so small, it doesn't take long for him to show her where his room his at. Once they are in front of his door, he proceeds to open it; revealing a organized bedroom. It's almost kind of boring.... There's a fairly large bed with blue sheets, a closet full of clothes, a book shelf that's filled with study material and a desk with a laptop sitting on it. The one thing that does stand out is a fencing medal and fencing foil.

Definitely no weird magazines lying around. ]

[ She nods as she walks in, looking rather in awe at just how clean it is before she finds herself blushing at his comment. ]

Ah... also, this. This is unrelated to anything I might talk about later, but. Since your cousin's sick, you don't mind if I cook something up later, do you?

[ Since she knows you can't cook. ]

[ When she enters, he lets out a nervous sounding exhale and slowly closes the door behind him. Having her in his own personal space like this made this moment feel almost intimate. The more he thought about it, he could feel his heart beat speeding up. ]

I wouldn't mind at all. In fact, Xiaolang would appreciate that a lot. Good food will help him to heal faster.

[ RUDE!! Even though it's totally true... and he also appreciates that she's looking out for him. ]

[ She smiles, looking rather proud of herself. In fact, she makes a triumphant huff, nodding a little bit as he says that. ]

I'll make some okayu for him if we have the ingredients for it, but if we don't, I guess we could buy some. I could also probably make dinner for you, too, while I'm at it.

[ Seeing how proud she looks causes him to chuckle a little. Her reactions to certain things never failed to amuse him. He walks over to his bed and sits down, she's welcome to join him if she wants. There's also the chair by his desk if she's more comfortable with sitting on that. ]

If we don't have the ingredients, it won't be a problem to head to the store. Since it's similar to jook I'm sure he'll like it. When you put it like that, you make me sound like a complete and total after thought.

[ Judging by the smirk on his lips, he's totally joking. If anything, he would rather her look after Xiaolang since he's the one who needs to be taken care of the most. ]

[ She says it in a chiding older sister tone before she plops herself to sit next to him on the bed. There's absolutely no way she's going to allow for any missed opportunities! ]

Anyway, since you are here, did you have any preferences on what I should make for dinner or should I surprise you? I already told my parents before I came over that there was an... emergency.

[ Huffs!! Now he feels like a child that's being scolded. That feeling doesn't last too long because when he sees her choosing to sit next to him, he's happy. ]

Hmm... surprise me? I'm not picky. [ Because he knew that he would like anything that she made for him. ] Speaking of your parents... are they okay with this arrangement? With us being a... c-couple?
